At the bottom of the Monitor (central panel), you have a set of buttons:
Click the 
button to start the animation at the current time cursor position.
Click the 
button to stop the animation.
The current time cursor position is displayed. You can change it of a little amount using the 
buttons.
The current time cursor position can also be changed by clicking on the time ruler:
