On top of the monitor (center panel), you have a set of selectors:

They enable you to define the working configuration. They mainly change the processing done when you are working on your animation, thus the speed of each image processing. From left to right:

  • the ratio of your picture (1:1, 4:3, 16:9, etc). This one is also changing the final rendering.
  • the resolution of your picture (DVD 576, HD 720, FullHD 1080, etc). This one only changes your working configuration, and will be redefined in the video rendering dialog box.
  • the color pixel precision (standard or HDR). Be careful, HDR is highly resource consuming, thus will be very slow to evaluate. This one only changes your working configuration, and will be redefined in the video rendering dialog box.
  • rendering quality (Fast or Quality). This activated some processing option like anti-aliasing or pixel interpolation in re-scaling. The Quality option is a bit slower. This one only changes your working configuration, the final video rendering will always be done with the Quality option.

You then have a second set of selectors:

They enable you to change the monitor display. They have no effect on the video rendering. From left to right:

  • stereo mode (anaglyph, side by side, interlaced, etc).
  • the number of lines of a grid displayed over the stereo.
  • a edges-detection mode (much efficient when in a low resolution, hard to view in high resolution.
